岗位职责
example of duties
• greets visitors and patients, answers telephone and schedule appointments
• keeps patient appointments on schedule by notifying dr. /nurse of patient's arrival; reviewing service delivery compared to schedule; reminding dr. /nurse of delays.
• helps patients in distress by responding to emergencies
• ensures availability of treatment information by filing and retrieving patient records
• prepare documentation for following day.
• responsible for reception/cashier area
• registers new patients and updates existing patient demographics.
• maintains patient accounts by obtaining, recording, and updating personal and financial information.
• input data into out his(health information system)
• perform duties assigned by supervisor/medical doctor.
• maintains business office inventory and equipment by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; placing and expediting orders for supplies; verifying receipt of supplies; scheduling equipment service and repairs.
• collect payment from uninsured patients at time of service
• provide each patient with a copy of current statement at end of each visit and obtains patient’s signature on the original office copy;
• request payment from patients according to their unique situation (checks notes in patient’s account);
• collect correct co-payment and deductible for patients whose insurance have direct billing contract with oasis;
• obtain copy of insurance cards from patient and payment schedule from third party payers at time of first visit and whenever payment status changes;
• be responsible for inpatient bills and double checks with doctors and nurses to make sure the entire bill is present;
• posts payments into system when patients settle their charges;
• help all insured patients to fill out the correct claim form;
• protect the client’s medical and financial confidentiality.

知识、能力、技术、特长knowledge, abilities, skills, traits:
knowledge of medical terminology which includes
anatomy, physiology, first aid and medical terminology.
minimum one year working in a clinical setting at junior level.
good knowledge of spoken and written english and chinese.
computer skills: basic computer skills including email word and excel.
excellent communication skills (close working environment with other professionals/ departments and clients)
flexibility, telephone skills, customer service, time management, organization, attention to detail, professionalism, quality focus
be a team player.
最低学历minimum education required:
high school diploma or equivalent
相关经验minimum experience required:
working experience with same position preferred;
语言能力 language requirement: 英文良好 good english communication in both oral and written;
