This position is leading the system architecture for the current generation of BMW's ServicePack (E/E Architecture and Infotainment generation) in BMW China. The responsibilities comprise the exploration and analysis of given market trends, customer requirements, or technical ideas in order to translate them into feasible solution architectures with clarified dependencies and impacts to the current generation of BMW's ServicePack. He/She needs a wide overview of E/E architectures, of HW constraints, and an in-depth knowledege of SW architectures. He/She needs excelent communication skills to bridge the communcication gap between non-technical and technical stakeholders and be able to convince high-level management in presentations. Responsibilities Leading 360° investigations for architecture topics for the current generation of BMW's ServicePack (e.g. integration of new ECUs, integration of new functions over two or more ECUs). Evaluate BMW and competitor HW / SW architecture. Derives and proposes future architectures or architectural changes. Translating customer requirements from a descriptive level to technical possibilites and concepts to ensure scalability, integratibility and maintainability of BMW architectures. Support product offer team and business lines to evaluate product ideas / offer from technical perspective. Cross functional collaboration with partner management, product owners, product offer, innovation and purchasing. Leading architecture proof of concept implementations with internal developers and external suppliers. Major B19:G23 Qualifications University degree required in engineering, information technology or similar. Profund experience in E/E architecture for automotive Deep understanding of automotive industry and CE industry Solution-Oriented and Customer-Oriented Mindset Project Management Skills Communication and collaboration skills Chinese and English written and spoken Proficiency with industry software tools is desired Programming know-how is desired Working experience 7-10 Years Project Management Experiecne 4-6 Years Working experience in field of automotive, IT 7-10 Years
